Bin Suroor is confident the daughter of Shamardal has enough speed to deal with the step back to a mile despite a runaway ten-length success in the Group 3 UAE Oaks at Meydan when sent off the 4-11 favourite on her last start in February.

"She worked well on Sunday over six furlongs and I have no worries about coming back to a mile as she has always shown lots of speed," said the Godolphin trainer.

Ihtimal raced twice at Meydan this winter, also winning the Listed UAE 1,000 Guineas by three-and-a-quarter lengths and Bin Suroor added: "She is race fit from Dubai and has improved physically for a break since the UAE Oaks."
