In an adequate preparation, Yulong Horse Industry held the conference of 2017 Shanxi Youyu Ecological Cultural Tourism and Yulong International Horse Racing Open Tournament in Beijing Sina building on 14th June. In the witness of numerous famous media, as the official start announcement of the event, Yulong Industry signed the contract on boosting China horse industry development with industries and organizations. Yulong Horse Industry had the contract with Singapore Jockey Club, Star Stable and Sina Sports, with the common idea on developing a healthy and sustainable China horse industry.
Yulong Racing regulars was set from 24th June, 2017 to 21st April, 2018. There are 38 racing days and 5 races on Saturday in each week, which means 190 racings in total for the whole year. The season was separated in two periods of time, which were 24th June, 2017 to 30th September, 2017 in Shanxi Youyu Yulong racetrack for spring summer season and 7th October,2017 to 21st April, 2018 in Wenjiang Jinma racecourse for autumn winter season.
The money prize for Yulong China Speed Racing 2017 to 2018 annual season is 12 million RMB, including the prize for Yulong Racing regulars, jockeys, trainers and annual ranking. Base on the different types of the racings, the reward for each racing was set between 40 thousand to 100 thousand RMB. The prize proportion for the ranking from No.1 to No.5 are 50%, 20%, 15%, 10% and 5% in each race.
Since June in 2017 was the first month of Yulong Racing regular, thanking for the attention and support from horse owners and stables, Yulong Horse Industry increased 10 thousand RMB as the special reward for each race in June.
15th July was the fourth day of Yulong International Horse Open Tournament which had 5 sparking racings in the day. It has to mention that the fifth racing ‘Red Mills Cup ‘which had 100 thousand RMB money prize was sponsored by Ireland Connolly’s Red Mills.
