Shanxi Yu Long Investment Corporation imported eleven warm-blood horses from Australia for training and racing in Mainland China. The eleven horses passed the 30-day quarantine in Shanxi.
During the quarantine period, China and Australia agreed on the momentum of horse inspection. Negative results are provided to the horses on clinical quarantine and blood test.
From 2011 onward, Yu Long Corp. imported 72 horses from Netherlands, Great Britain, the United States and Australia to form “Yu Long Racing Team” and “Shanxi Equestrian Team”.
The local government of Shanxi actively involved in the procedure of quarantine and horse transportation with following the international standards. Shanxi province is a pioneer in importing horses to China.
