2017 Guangdong Equestrian League and Junior Championship press conference was held in the meeting room of Guangdong Equestrian Association (GEA) which is located in Guangdong Huangcun Sports Training Center on 28th July. The director of Guangdong Huangcun Sports Training Center and Guangdong Equestrian Association Vice President Jianxiang Cai pointed out that equestrian gathers the senses of competition, appreciation and amusement, with a potential and extensive development. Equestrian sport bases on the better social foundation and audiences in Guangdong, with an increasing number of horse lovers. He also mentioned that there would be five spotlights in the Equestrian League, which are the support of Guangdong Sports Federation, the sponsor of Hong Kong Jockey Club, the competition between professional and non-professional riders of the three cities in Pearl River Delta and live broadcast by numerous websites and media.

Dongbin Luo claimed that GEA will actively promote the theory and suggestion from the nation and Guangdong Sports, developing mass equestrian activities, enhancing the level of competitive level, supplying the services from directors, trainers and consulters for the activity and continuously improving the social and scientific management level. Besides, it will arrange the national and international equestrian racings, with the organization of equestrian athletes, trainers and judgments. Managing academic forum and discussion, encouraging the communication of domestic and international horse sports and strengthening the studies and cooperation with Hong Kong and Macau are also the ambition of GEA. ‘Guangdong equestrian team is one of the best one in China. The racecourses in Huangcun Sports Training Center can undertake and hold international races.
