Even though China has a 5000 year of horse culture, with the long-time faulted, the Chinese racing is way behind the international standard. We organized this event to attract Chinese racing fans to Singapore where the mature horse racing ecosystem has built. So they are able to participate in racing events during their tours. ” said the Chairman of CHC, Mr. Teo Ah Khing.

A new group 3 level race with a purse of 200,000 Singapore Dollars will be run on the day. The CHC will bring 8-10 race horse from elsewhere and race them in Singapore after the CECF carnival.

“We choose Singapore simply because betting is not allowed in Mainland China.” The chairman said.

“It will be trilled if we attract 1000 chinese racing fans to Singapore during CNY. If we receive positive feedbacks, we would like to organize another similar event during the Chinese National Day Holidays.”

“This is an opportunity to bring Chinese racing fans to the world. And we hope to bring worldwide racing fans to China in the future.”
