6th July, 2017 Inner Mongolia Horqin Right Wing Middle Banner International Horse Culture Tourism Activity Week was officially started, rapidly spreading in numerous media in a short time. These media are CCTV, People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily, China Youth News, Inner Mongolia CCTV, Xingan Daily, Xingan Radio CCTV, China News, Guangming Online, China Mongolian Radio, Horse China One, TVNZ and Daluma. The event has been in the news, focusing by the five national major media which are CCTV, People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily and China Youth News. Moreover, the activity attracts the attention from domestic and overseas and the racetrack in the event from Rider Horse Industry has become a spotlight. In a conservative estimation, there are more than 10 million audiences know about the event. It has to point out that Horqin Right Wing Middle Banner Committee, the Government and the event director, the Chairman and CEO of Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Industry Lin Lang, the effort and contribution are unforgettable.
Only a few days later, the racing horse, representing for Hinggan League and Rider Horse has also become the focusing point.
On 12th July, the ninth Inner Mongolia Minority Tradition Sports Meeting has grandly started in Hulunbuir. Five speed racings has scheduled in three days. Burigude and Rider Horse No. 92, which is representative for Hinggan League and Rider Horse Industry, got the champion of 1 mile and 2 furlong and 8000 meters racings that held on 13th July.
There are more than 2000 members from 12 leagues in Mongolia took part in 14 racings and 3 shows, including equestrian, wrestling, archery, throwing, tug of war, swing to touch the bell, Kungfu, shuttlecock and a series of distinctive and traditional minority sports. Speed racing, horse-walking, 4 mile 5 furlong staying race and 30-mile endurance race are the sessions in the equestrian. The 4 mile 5 furlong staying race is a new tradition sport that added in this Hulunbuir Ethnic Sport Meeting. It is a project that each part runs for a different distance.
